Public anger explodes over hospital crisis

Sinn Féin Dáil Leader and Spokesperson on Health and Children Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin has called on the Minister for Health and Children Mary Harney and the Health Services Executive (HSE) to recognise the depth of public anger displayed at a massive protest last Monday in support of Monaghan General Hospital. It was with deep shock and profound sadness that republicans across Ireland learned on Monday of the death of Michael Ferguson. Ferguson, a Sinn Féin MLA and Councillor and a former political prisoner, died suddenly during the night last Sunday. He was 53. Free article
