Unionists should consent to talks

Three Unionist MPs have now come out publicly against the UUP sitting at the talks table with Sinn Féin. The three - Ross, Smyth and Thompson - are part of an old guard who are finding it increasingly difficult to come to terms with a changing world. But their views are not unrepresentative. There is an air of crisis within Unionism as the talks approach and not only the old guard are getting cold feet. Free article
