Ferris pushes on anti-drugs

SF win chair of Buncrana

Councillor Jim Ferry became the first ever Sinn Fein Chairman of Buncrana Council after a narrow 5-4 vote last Tuesday 16 June. Ferry was elected with support from Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Independent Fianna Fail councillors. After his victory Jim Ferry said support coming from across the parties put the council in a position to ``move forward in a spirit comradeship for the good of Buncrana''. Free article
