US to repatriate Maguire

Republican prisoner Eamon Maguire is one of three prisoners who have been given preliminary approval by the United States Justice Department for repatriation to Irish prisons. Maguire was extradited to the United States in 1994 on charges of conspiracy to export arms from the US. He is expected to be transferred to Portlaoise Prison. Maguire is due for release next year.
