Adams urges vigilance

By Mick Naughton.

With the news that over a dozen Belfast people have been told by the RUC that loyalist death squads have their personal details, Gerry Adams has urged caution and increased vigilance.

``There have been consistent reports over recent months of loyalist death squads targeting republicans. This exercise by the RUC confirms what we have already known - there are no loyalist cessations and loyalists are killing and trying to kill people.''

Adams maintained that a lot of the information collected has been obviously collated by the crown forces and revealed that several of those visited by the RUC were arrested only a few months ago for the first and only time.

That their details have already been passed to loyalists is further evidence of the high state of collusion between loyalists and the British agenda.
