SOUTH DERRY BRIGADE ATTACKED RUC
Oglaigh na Eireann's South Derry Brigade in a statement released this week have claimed responsibility for a rocket propelled grenade attack on an RUC armoured personnel carrier as it passed through Carlane Crescent in Toomebridge on Monday evening, 27 January.
In their statement Oglaigh na hEireann said that the blast had rocked the vehicle but that it had sped off for the safety of Toomebridge RUC barracks sited on the main Belfast to Derry road beside the river Bann.
