On Thursday 31 September a group from Sinn Féin Head Office and Coiste na nIarchimí staff visited Long Kesh and Milltown Cemetery. The trip was insightful, educational and highly moving.

We would like to say a special thanks to Gerry McConnville and Pat McCotter who brought us around The Kesh and Milltown respectively. Both comrades gave excellent talks about the places we visited telling stories both funny, sad and bringing our history to life.

We would recommend a visit to both these places to any republican wishing to educate themselves on the sacrifice made by republican men and women in pursuit of a United Ireland.
