Jack Lawlor honoured in Ballyheigue
Tháinig slua mór le chéile i mBaile Uí Thaidhg, Co Chiarraí, ar an Luain seo caite, chun comóradh a dhéanamh ar bás Sheáin Ó Leathlobhair i 1923.
A crowd of approximately 140 gathered in Ballheigue on Monday to commemorate the death of local republican, Jack Lawlor, who was killed by Free State forces in 1923. Kerry republican veteran Jerry Savage paid tribute to Lawlor's sacrifice and to the many IRA volunteers who have followed in his footsteps throughout the years.
