Dublin prisoners' group
TAR ISTEACH, the Dublin ex-prisoners' group, held the first in a series of conferences in Dublin on Saturday, 30 October.
Taking place at the offices of Coiste na n-Iarchimí in Lower Dominick Street, the well-attended meeting discussed a wide range of issues affecting the former prisoner community in Dublin and there were workshops dealing with the development of Tar Isteach and a programme of work.
The conference heard from representatives of other ex-prisoners' groups and from those still imprisoned. An executive committee was established.
