Saoirse rally in Cushendall
A LARGE CROWD of Nationalists from the North Antrim coast area attended a Saoirse rally from Waterfoot to Cushendall last Sunday 28 September.
At Cushendall the crowd assembled at the Curfew Tower where Saoirse chairperson Martin Meehan addressed them.
Meanwhile a spokesperson for Carnlough Sinn Féin criticised "the heavy handed RUC tactics during the march. Up to six landrovers, several cars and motor-cyclists were present. They should lay down their weapons," he said.
