Strabane 'out of hours' cuts plan taken up by Patients' Council

Claire McGill
THE Patients and Clients’ Council has now taken up local concerns about plans to cut local GP out-of-hours medical services in Strabane and Limavady, according to Sinn Féin West Tyrone MLA Claire McGill. The Sinn Féin Assembly member recently organised a public meeting where families raised their concerns over the plan.
“I believe that the plans to reduce GP out-of-hours cover to be totally ill-conceived and will, if allowed to proceed in their current form, lead to a breakdown in service provision. The Trust needs to go back to the drawing board.”
