DOHERTY, Martin. (Dublin Brigade) In proud and loving memory of Volunteer Martin ‘Doco’ Doherty, Óglaigh na hÉireann, who was killed by loyalists at the Widow Scallan’s pub on 21 May 1994. No greater love can a man have than to lay down his life for his friends. Proudly remembered by the members of the Vol. Martin ‘Doco’ Doherty RFB, Govan, Glasgow.

DOHERTY, Martin. (Dublin Brigade). Murdered by loyalist death squad, 21 May 1994, while protecting Republicans in the Widow Scallans Pub, Pearse Street. “Fuair siad bais ar son saoirse na hÉireann”. Always remembered by the Drumm/Doherty Cumann Clondalkin Sinn Féin.
DOHERTY, Martin. (Dublin Brigade). Vol. Martin Doherty, 16th Anniversary.  You may be gone but your spirit and memory will live on forever.  A fearless and Brave Volunteer until the end.  Gone but never forgotten. Remembered by all at the Rising Phoenix Republican Flute Band, Dublin.

KEENAN, Brian. In proud and loving memory of a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Volunteer Brian Keenan, who died on 21 May 2008. You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he lived, You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your  back, Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
