DONAGHY, Tommy (Derry). In proud and loving memory of Tommy Donaghy, Sinn Féin activist, murdered 16 August 1991 at Portna fishery Kilrea, by loyalists working in collusion with British crown forces. “Life springs from death, and from the graves of patriot men and women spring living nations.” Always remembered by the McGinn/Rodden/ Donaghy/Cassidy Sinn Féin cumann, Kilrea, East Derry.
DONAGHY, Tommy (Derry). In proud and loving memory of our dear brother Tommy, murdered 16 August 1991 at Portna fishery by loyalists, armed by, and working in collusion with, British crown forces. ‘They lounge in might and glory bright this empire once so grand, but they built it on a rock of wrong, they built it without span, and tank or gun they have got none, to break an Irishman.” Always remembered with pride by son, brothers, sisters and family circle.
