Dublin MEP hosts conference on domestic violence
International and domestic experts on domestic violence will speak at a conference hosted by Dublin Sinn Féin MEP Mary Lou McDonald on Thursday, 8 May.
The one-day conference to be held in Dublin’s Mansion House will include Margaret Martin of Women’s Aid, Nobuhle Nduka from Aikidwa, Dr Ailbhe Smyth of UCD and Rita Fagan, a community worker based in the St Michael’s Resource Centre.
Former Swedish MEP Marianne Eriksson, will outline the experience of confronting domestic violence from a European perspective.
The conference commences at 10am in the Mansion House, admission is free and all are welcome.
