Launch of new book on Hunger Strike

Author and journalist Danny Morrison launched Hunger Strike, a fascinating collection of essays on the 1981 Hunger Strike from over 50 individuals, in Hughes & Hughes bookshop in Dublin on Saturday, 7 October.

As well as contributions by republican prisoners in Armagh in the 1980s and members of the Relatives action Committees from the time, Hunger Strike also features pieces by well-known actors, writers and journalists and political figures, from Ireland and abroad. All give revealing and deeply personal recollections of the Hunger Strike.
