Sinister Tyrone raids

FOUR MEN WERE ARRESTED in Crown Force raids in Tyrone on Tuesday morning 14 January and taken to RUC interrogation centres.

``During the early morning raids four houses, three in Coalisland and one in Dungannon were raided for several hours. In the house in Dungannon the RUC drew very detailed plans of all the rooms and some new security equipment that the family had installed recently,'' said Sinn Féin's Francie Molloy.

The Mid-Ulster representative described the raids as ``sinister''. He said the RUC marked the positions of chairs and beds on their plan and wanted to know who sat in the chairs and slept in the beds. They also checked what could be seen in the new security camera.

According to Molloy the RUC threatened to damage the house when the occupant refused to sign the `damage form'.
