Kevin Barry commemoration

Republicans in Dublin Central held a commemoration for Kevin Barry on Saturday 5 November to mark the 85h anniversary of his execution. Barry, a Dublin IRA Volunteer was hanged at Mountjoy Jail on 1 November 1920. The commemoration at Glasnevin Cemetery, chaired by Ciarán Mac Annraoí, was addressed by Sinn Féin Dublin MEP Mary Lou McDonald while Councillor Dessie Ellis laid a wreath at the monument to the Forgotten Ten
