Pearse Doherty speaks in Mallorca

Doherty addresses ERC conference

Donegal Sinn Féin Councillor Pearse Doherty recently attended a party conference of Catalan nationalist party ERC in Palma, Mallorca. He was there on the invitation of the ERC President in the Balearic Islands, Jahn Ilad.

The party is a coalition partner in the Catalan Government, and has eight members of the Spanish parliament. Pearse was the guest speaker and gave a lecture on Sinn Féin and 100 years of Struggle. He also took the opportunity to update the media on current developments in the Peace Process.
