IRA rejects threat allegations

The following statement from the leadership of Óglaigh na hÉireann was received by An Phoblacht on Wednesday 18 August 2004.

"In recent days the media have carried allegations about IRA threats against individuals in the Antrim area.

"These allegations are total nonsense.

"They are being fed by individuals seeking to promote themselves and pursue personal agendas."
