New North Antrim SF office

Upwards of 100 people crowded into the courtyard in front of the new North Antrim Constituency Office in Dunloy on Friday 30 April to see North Antrim Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan and the party's Six-County EU candidate Bairbre de Brún perform the official opening ceremony.

Bairbre spoke of the hard work and sacrifices made by those who had canvassed and fought to have Philip elected but also by those who had paid the ultimate price in the fight for a new, free democratic Ireland. They could only have dreamed of the day when North Antrim would have its own Sinn Féin constituency office, she said.

Bairbre also praised the hard work and professional approach that Philip has applied to his work as an MLA and as a member of Ballymoney Council. After the opening ceremony, those in attendance were invited to the Dunloy Parish Centre for a buffet and the celebrations ended with an Irish night in the local Village Inn.
