Parents accuse school of breach of trust

Parents of children attending St Malachy's High School in Antrim are accusing the school authorities of bad faith after pupils were taken to a career fair in Ballymena Tech that was attended by the British crown forces.

The recruitment stalls at the careers fair, which took place on Wednesday 5, included the RAF, the Territorial Army and the Royal Marine Commandos, a regiment responsible for some of the worst anti-nationalist repression of the last 30 years.

Sinn Féin's Martin Meehan says that "parents who contacted Sinn Féin say they are angry and disappointed that the school didn't inform them about the presence of British crown forces recruitment stalls".
