Dundalk remembers Gibraltar Three

The 20th anniversary of the deaths of the Gibraltar Three, Mairéad Farrell, Dan McCann and Seán Savage was marked in Dundalk when hundreds of people marched by candlelight from Dundalk Shopping Centre to Bridge Street.
Black flags were carried during the silent march as men and women, young and old, recalled the night two decades ago when thousands lined the streets of Dundalk as the funeral cortege of the three IRA volunteers came through the County Louth town on its way to Belfast.
