ARDOYNE REPUBLICAN Margaret McClenaghan, who died early on Wednesday 2 October, will be sorely missed by those who knew her, worked with her and stood with her when the unity and strength of a committed community saw Ardoyne through some of the worst days of the conflict.

HUNDREDS of people attended the funeral in Belfast on Tuesday 3 September of 18-year-old Ryan Brady, who died on holiday in Spain on 24 August.

The Joe Cahill mural was rededicated on Monday 2 September at Brittons Parade and Beechview Park in west Belfast was unveiled by Joe’s widow, Annie. Sinn Féin MLA Pat Sheehan chaired the event.
