Taoiseach's action adds to instability – election now, says Gerry Adams
THE TAOISEACH needs to call a general election now because his resignation today as leader of Fianna Fáil only adds to instability, Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams has said.
Fianna Fáil and the Government are in chaos, he said:
Today’s announcement will lead to further instability.
The Government and Fianna Fáil are in chaos. Their focus is not on the problems facing the country.
The Taoiseach needs to call a general election now.
It's time to let the people have their say.
