Prisoner's RTÉ break
Republican prisoner Michael Gallagher is to have his work performed on RTÉ radio as part of the Francis McManus Award broadcasts.
His short story, `Delivery', concerns the dilemma of a mother who resorts to helping her drug addict son in the search for his next fix and will be broadcast on Sunday 7 May at 7.45pm on RTE Radio 1.
Michael Gallagher is a republican prisoner currently on temporary release from Castelrea prison. He was arrested in London in October 1996 and is awaiting final release under the Good Friday Agreement in May of this year.
