SDLP leader challenged to stand for Dáil after 'sour grapes' comments
SDLP leader Margaret Ritchie’s “contradictory” comments about who people should vote for in the Dáil general election have been labelled “SDLP sour grapes from a losing party” by general election candidate and Dublin Sinn Féin Chairperson Paul Donnelly.
The Dublin West candidate challenged the SDLP leader to stand in the Dáil elections and said:
Margaret Ritchie says she doesn’t want to 'interfere' in the election but goes on to urge people not to vote for Sinn Féin.
So the SDLP thinks it’s okay to vote for Fianna Fáil?
This is more sour grapes from Margaret Ritchie, whose party has been eclipsed by Sinn Féin.
If the SDLP wants to stand against Sinn Féin in the Dáil elections then they’re more than welcome to try in Dublin West or anywhere else in Ireland.
Come on down, Margaret.
