Gerry Kelly welcomes legacy report from expert group

Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly has welcomed the report by the Model Bill Team on the current options for dealing with the legacy of our past and particularly the group’s strong commitment to the full implementation of the Stormont House Agreement, as agreed in December 2014, as it offers the best way forward, in dealing with the legacy of our past.

Kelly also accused the British Government of attempting to unilaterally reconstruct and rewrite the Stormont House Agreement.

Cuireann Gerry Kelly fáilte roimh thuairisc ar Oidhreacht na Coimhlinte ó shainghrúpa

Tá fáilte curtha ag Gerry Kelly roimh thuairisc Model Bill Team faoina féidearthachtaí reatha chun dul i ngleic le hoidhreacht na coimhlinte. Tá an grúpa tiomanta fosta chun cur i bhfeidhm Comhaontú Stormont House, ar aontaíodh i mí na Nollag 2014. Is é an slí is fearr chun cinn le haghaidh a thabhairt ar oidhreacht na coimhlinte.

Tá sé curtha i leith Rialtas na Breataine ag Kelly go bhfuil iarracht á ndéanamh acu athchruthú a dhéanamh ar Chomhaontú Stormont House.

Easter lilies and artwork for children

This week we circulated a document which can be printed and cut up to make easter lilies as we know many people will not be able to get their lilies in the normal way this year.

We also circulated Easter themed artwork for kids to do and display on Easter Sunday.

Links to both of these can be found below:

Lilí na Cásca agus ealaín do pháistí

Chuir muid doiciméad thart an tseachtain seo gur féidir a phriontáil agus a ghearradh amach le lilí na cásca a chruthú. Tuigeann muid nach mbeidh daoine in ann iad a fháil ar an ghnáthbhealach i mbliana.

Chuir muid obair ealaíne le téama na Cásca ann, thart freisin do pháistí.

Ranganna Gaeilge

Sinn Féin launched an ambitious Irish Language related project this week whereby we have tried to organize an Online Irish Class in every county.

This project saw over 1500 people sign up.

This week alone saw over 300 people partake in classes right across the country on the Video-Conferencing App: Zoom.

This is in line with our national objective of Gaelicizing Sinn Féin and a bilingual society, but also hopes to provide an opportunity for our membership to do something while they’re stuck inside.

If you’re interested in taking part in the free classes, email [email protected]

Ranganna Gaeilge

Chuir Sinn Féin tús le togra Gaeilge uaillmhianach an tseachtain seo. Bheartaigh muid rang Gaeilge ar líne a dhéanamh i ngach contae.

Shínigh breis agus 1500 duine suas don rang.

Chonacthas breis agus 300 duine ag tógáil páirt i ranganna fud fad na tíre ar an chóras Zoom.

Tagann seo le haidhm Shinn Féin Gaelú a dhéanamh ar an pháirtí agus sochaí dhátheangach a chruthú. Leoga, tugann sé deis do dhaoine rud fiúntach a dhéanamh agus iad sáinnithe ina dtithe.

Más suim leat páirt a ghlacadh ann, gabh i dteagmháil le [email protected]
