The Irish Volunteer - Óglach na hÉireann, Volume 2 - Number 45
Reports from Belfast and Liverpool are of local interest in this issue. A Volunteer public meeting on Clonard Street on 5 October is reported. Not for the last time in Belfast the crowd applauded as the chairperson named their comrades who had been jailed by the British government, including Denis McCullough and Liam Mellows.
Meanwhile in Liverpool the Irish Volunteers were evicted from their hall and had to find a new one. The new venue is advertised and recruits are encouraged. The report shows Cumann na mBan active in Liverpool also and, separately, progress in First Aid instruction is reported by Cumann na mBan in Dublin.
