Máirtín Ó Muilleoir – poll topper in South Belfast? One to watch as SDLP leader in hiding from voters

SOUTH BELFAST is looking very interesting with a strong Sinn Féin challenge by former Mayor Máirtín Ó Muilleoir (@newbalfast on Twitter) and the almost invisible SDLP incumbent, SDLP leader Alasdair McDonnell – who says he'll remain a double jobber by clinging to his Assembly post even if he does return as an MP!

The SDLP leader has been widely criticised for ducking debates with his formidable Sinn Féin opponent and has refused to answer media queries on why the SDLP leader did not take part in a live UTV debate on Tuesday.

The SDLP have already said their leader will not face the voters at another hustings in South Belfast tonight.
