Piper leads colour party at Brookeborough Raid Commemoration 2010

Despite the cold weather, hundreds of republicans from all over Ireland gathered outside Roslea, County Fermanagh, on Sunday to commemorate the Pearse Column’s 1957 raid on Brookeborough RUC barracks.
The event, which takes place every year, was addressed by Sinn Féin Erne East Councillor Brian McCaffrey. A lone piper led a colour party made up of Ógra Shinn Féin to the monument at Altawark that marks the spot where Column members Seán Sabhat and Feargal Ó hAnnluainn died.
