ICTU Day of Action - Friday 6 November

Get up – stand up for your rights

SINN FÉIN is appealing to supporters to come out in huge numbers for the Irish Congress of Trade Unions’ Day of Action on Friday 6 November under the slogan of “Get up, Stand up – For a better, fairer way.”
The ICTU says:
“We need as many people as possible to come out onto the streets on 6 November and make their voices heard. There are eight demonstrations happening at different centres thoughout the country. Let your work colleagues, friends and family know about this day of action and help make it a success.”

There are eight regional protests, all commencing at 2.30pm on 6 November:

•    Dublin – Parnell Square
•    Waterford – The Glen
•    Tullamore – County Hall
•    Cork – Connolly Hall
•    Limerick – Mechanics’ Institute
•    Galway – The Cathedral
•    Sligo – The Blue Lagoon
•    Dundalk – The Fairgreen
