Larry O'Toole honoured by Dublin republicans

Dublin republicans turned out in large numbers for Sinn Féin’s Annual Dinner Dance on 15 November. The night was a great success with over 200 people attending the function at the Hilton Holtel on Charlemont Street.
Traditional music at the event was provided by Tony McMahon, Neilidh Mulligan and Jesse Smith and Mary Mullen.
Republicans from across the city and county turned out in particular to pay tribute to Sinn Féin Dublin City Councillor Larry O’Toole who was Special Honouree at the Dinner. Dublin MEP Mary Lou McDonald spoke of Larry’s work over many years in the service of republicanism and TD Aengus Ó Snodaigh presented the city councillor with an engraved bust of Padraig Mac Piarais.
Councillor Seán Crowe also made a presentation to former Sinn Féin Councillor Mark Daly who recently stepped down fron South Dublin County Council.
Also pictured below with Larry are members of Larry’s local Cole/Colley Cumann, Sinn Féin: Breandán Ó Caoláin, Eimear Ní Mhurchadha, Larry O’Toole, Denise Mitchell, Andy Kavanagh and Cain O’Brien.
