DOHERTY, Vol Martin “Doco” Doherty Dublin Brigade Óglaigh na hÉireann 14th anniversary. Remembered with pride Martin ‘Doco’ Doherty who was murdered by a British sponsored unionist death squad on the 21st of May 1994 in defence of so many at The Widow Scallan’s pub. “A freedom fighter a freedom seeker” sadly missed, from Martin Begley, Bolton
DOHERTY, Martin. In proud and loving memory of Doco. In any decent state, Doco would have received the highest official recognition for his selfless bravery in giving his young life to save so many others. Instead, in this retarded portion of “the carnival of reaction”, he was demonised by an establishment with less collective courage than Martin had in his wee finger. No matter; he will always be fondly remembered for the hero that he was by his family, friends and comrades. From Seán Marlow, Ballymun Sinn Féin.
FULLERTON, Edward ‘Eddie’ (17th Ann). In proud and loving memory of Sinn Féin Councillor B.C.C/ Donegal C.C who was murdered by pro-British forces 25th May 1991. We think of you quietly, with pride we speak your name, though life goes on without you, it will never be the same. So many things have happened we wanted you to share, we needed you and wished that you were there. You left us with our memories of times when we were all together, to get the justice you deserve we will fight on forever. Loved and missed so much by your loving wife Diana, sons and daughters, sons and daughters in law, grandchildren and great grand child. Queen of Ireland pray for him. RIP
