Attacks on Apprentice Boys Hall wrong

Sinn Féin Councillor for the Bogside area of Derry Peter Anderson has called on those responsible for sectarian petrol and paint attacks on the city’s Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall to desist immediately from such sectarian behaviour. Anderson was speaking following incidents which took place in the area last weekend.

Ógra organiser co-opted to Craigavon Council

Ógra Shinn Féin National Secretary and Ulster organiser Johnny McGibbon has been co-opted onto Craigavon Council after Cllr Leah Small stepped down.
Upper Bann MLA John O’Dowd has said 21-year-old McGibbon brings has local and national political experience and a track record of organising, campaigning and supporting the work of Sinn Féin locally through its Lurgan Office.
“It is important that we support younger members of the party becoming elected representatives.
“I also want to thank Leah Small for her dedication and commitment and wish her well in the future” O’Dowd said.
