Féile an Phobail 2007

West Belfast’s August Féile is the largest community-led festival in Europe and is now entering its 20th year. This year’s festival takes place between the 5 and 12 August 2007.
This year’s programme of events has been set up to celebrate the creative and dynamic community that resides in West Belfast and to promote the community on the world stage by bringing world-renowned acts to the area. An important part of Féile’s ethos is also to promote local talent, so acts include both established and up and coming local and national artists.
Féile’s wide and varied programme includes music and comedy; family, children’s and outdoor events; drama and exhibitions; books and literary events; Féile Summer School; discussion and debates; and even a drive-in cinema.
