The annual 1916 Rising commemoration at The Loup in Co. Marchers made their way to the grave of Brigadier Seán Larkin who was executed by Free State forces at Drumboe, Co. Our presence here today is not merely in remembrance of 1916 and the men from Gleann Cholmcille who fought and died for their country and for a workers’ republic, it is a reflection of our determination to see out, through thick and thin, the implementation of our goals and to create an Ireland of Equals”.
