2007 Assembly election appeal

Gerry Adams

Gerry Adams

A chara,

Sinn Féin is an Irish Republican party. The only all-Ireland party. Sinn Féin believes in the right of the Irish people to freedom, independence and unity. Tá Sinn Féin ag iarraidh todhchaí nua a thogail dar bpáistí uilig atá bunaithe ar comhionnannas.

Over the last twelve months Sinn Féin has worked tirelessly to advance the peace process and to try and secure the return of the power-sharing institutions.  And we have made huge progress.

The recent extraordinary Sinn Féin Ard Fheis has created a new mood of optimism. We must now build upon this and deliver further progress.

In negotiations, in government, on policing Sinn Féin has delivered real and positive change.

In the next few months we are fighting elections. First in the North and then in the South. We are the only party to contest and have elected representatives throughout Ireland.

On 7 March we want to return the strongest possible Sinn Féin team to the Assembly so that we can take on the challenges that lie ahead in the Executive and All-Ireland Ministerial Council.

Over the last number of years I have asked for your help on many occasions and you have always responded positively.  Your support has allowed us to take brave decisions to advance the peace process and to put our agenda for change firmly onto the political agenda.

Please make a donation to our Assembly election campaign and help Sinn Féin deliver for Ireland’s future.

Thank you for your help and support. Go raibh maith agat.

Is mise,

Gerry Adams MP
