Charlie McGlade honoured in Dublin

The memory of former leading Irish republican Charlie McGlade was marked on Saturday, 16 September by a parade and commemoration ceremony in Drimnagh on the south side of Dublin City. The main speaker was Sinn Féin TD for Dublin South Central Aengus Ó Snodaigh. In recognition of their work for Sinn Féin in the Drimnagh area over many years, particularly through sales of An Phoblacht, local activists Tony and Mary O'Rawe were given a presentation on behalf of the Charlie McGlade Cumann at a function following the commemoration.
