Major advance for Dublin-Derry motorway

A Sinn Féin delegation including Pat Doherty MP, Bairbre de Brún MEP,
Caoimhghín O Caoláin TD, and Cllrs Pearse Doherty and Pádraig Mac
Lochlainn of Donegal County Council met on Tuesday with the EU
Commissioner for Transport, Jacques Barrot, at the European Parliament in
Strasbourg in a further step in the party's ongoing campaign for a
motorway from Dublin to the North West. Speaking after the meeting, the
delegation said the campaign for a major upgrading of the Dublin to North
West route had been advanced significantly.
