SHANAHAN, Patrick. "In proud and loving memory of our father Paddy (p.s.)Dublin Brigade Óglaigh na h-Éireann and republican P.O.W. Portlaoise prison 1974 - 1981,who passed away on 7 August 2004. SHANAHAN, Paddy. (Snr). (2nd Ann). Died 7 August 2004. They were true men, though few, the Dublin Brigade. There was much work to do to get things right. But old and young were anxious to fight.
