Fermanagh racist attacks

Three Polish workers, all in their 20s, were attacked by a gang of four men as they returned to their Lisnaskea home in County Fermanagh in the early hours of Sunday 19 June.

One of the men was struck on the head with a block of wood while his friends sustained minor injuries to their arms and legs. Their home in Carrowshee Park was also targeted, with the gang of four thugs smashing the front living room window and damaging the front door.

All three were treated in hospital but later released.

Sinn Féin MP for Fermanagh/South Tyrone Michelle Gildernew said the violence against migrant workers was deplorable.
