• COMMEMORATIVE EVENTS: Coiste Cuimhneachain Ard Na Bhfea agus Uibh Eachach. The Beechmount/Iveagh commemoration function convenes on Friday 27 February 2004 @ 8.30 pm, in the clubrooms of the Irish Republican Felons Association, BELFAST. Entertainment will be provided by Pol MacAdaim, followed by disco. Admission £4. Prominent Belfast Republican Bernard Fox (ex hunger striker) will deliver oration. There will also be an eulogy for each volunteer and Sinn Féin member delivered by a family member or friend. Your presence will be much appreciated at the function to commemorate the Republican dead from the area. Unveiling of plaque 29 February 2004. There will be an unveiling of a plaque in honour of Volunteers Paul Fox, Seán Bailey, Tony Campbell and Paul Marlowe from the Beechmount/Iveagh area. We will gather at Ard Na Va at 1pm and leave 1.30pm sharp where we will proceed to the unveiling in Iveagh Street. We are calling on Republican activists and especially ex-POW's to attend with proper and warm dress (black tie and white shirt) to march behind the colour party.
