Edinburgh Castlerea 5 picket

Last Friday, the Free the Castlerea Five Campaign in Scotland held a picket outside the Irish Consulate in Edinburgh protesting the Dublin Government's refusal to release the men under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement.

Following the picket, a delegation met with the Consul General to deliver a letter of protest. At the meeting, they restated the support for the peace process which exists within Scotland's Irish community and demanded the Dublin Government release the men as part of the full implementation of the Agreement.

Another picket will be held on Friday 19 December at 3.30pm. For more details contact connolly.march @ireland.com.
