Belfast rally against death drivers

The Families Bereaved Through Car Crime organisation joined the residents of Aitnamona estate in Belfast on Thursday 25 September to highlight the problem faced by the are with car crime. Speaking at the march, Ursula Loughran of the Aitnamona Residents' Association highlighted the problem faced by the community watch.

"There are a least five runaround cars in the area every night and we know who they are and where they live," she said. "The solution to the problem would be a better commitment for the residents of the area to support their community watch to help rid the streets of these death drivers before a child is hurt or killed."

Also speaking at the march were Geordie Murtagh and Paul Maskey, the local Sinn Féin councillor for the area.
