Murphy confident in Newry and Armagh

At the launch of his Westminster election campaign in the Armagh City Hotel on Tuesday, Sinn Féin MLA for Newry and Armagh, Conor Murphy, told a packed hall of supporters that community, business and sporting organisations the length and breadth of the constituency "want an MP who will provide active, effective representation.

"This constituency is growing in confidence and wants to move forward and make its mark in the new Ireland." He said that Sinn Féin is determined to be the driving force in that project and, "with your support, we will be able to do just that in a few short weeks".
