McGuinness meets Pink Ladies

The Derry Pink Ladies’ ‘Give an Egg With Love’ campaign is going from strength to strength, according to Foyle Sinn Féin MLA Martina Anderson. She was speaking after the Deputy First Minister met with the group at Da Vinci’s Hotel.
“As a keen supporter of the Pink Ladies myself, I am delighted at the response to the campaign so far,” said Anderson. “Basically, we are asking people to buy a small Easter egg for their loved ones this Easter. This – along with your message of love  – costs £1 and all proceeds will go to local cancer charities including the Foyle Hospice and the Sperrin Rooms.   
“The response so far has been fantastic and I would urge the people of Derry to continue to get behind it in the weeks running up to Easter.”
