Dundalk victims of Black and Tans remembered

TheRE was a large turnout for the special wreathlaying ceremony at the grave of Patrick and John Watters from Seatown, Dundalk, who were murderd by Black and Tans in June 1921.
The gravestone in St Patrick Cemetery, Dundalk, has been recently cleaned and restored by members of the  local Watters Brothers Sinn Féin Cumann.
The short ceremony was chaired by cumann member Damien Johnston.  The wreath was laid by cumann chairperson Pat McVeigh.
Sinn Féin councillor Ian Dooley paid tribute to the brothers and gave a special welcome to Nancy Rafferty, a niece of the two men, who represented the family at the ceremony.
