Other NewsMcGuinness slams attacks on DPP membersSinn Féin MP for Mid-Ulster, Martin McGuinness, has called on those behind an attack on the car of a DPP member in Cookstown to stop their activities immediately. "This attack on a car belonging to an independent member of the Cookstown DPP is, unfortunately, the latest in line of similar attacks," he said. "These attacks are wrong and those behind them should reflect on their actions and stop. "Attacks on members of local DPPs do nothing to advance the goal of creating an acceptable policing service and they strengthen the hand of the securocrats who wish to undo much of the progress we have made in recent times."
