Photo: Sinn Féin Councillors Seamus Gaffney and Pearse McGeough with Francie Molloy MLA (centre) THE 87th Anniversary of the death of Seán O’Carroll and Patrick Tierney, two young IRA Volunteers killed by Black and Tans in 1920, was marked by a commemoration in Ardee, County Louth, on Sunday, 25 November.Chaired by Pearse McGeough, the commemoration was addressed by Alan Cassidy of Ógra Shinn Féin. The main speaker was Francie Molloy, Sinn Féin MLA. “The republican struggle has entered a new and most dangerous phase,” Francie said. “Sinn Féin’s republican message is correct and it must be heard by increasing numbers of people in the time ahead. “We will not be thwarted despite the best efforts of our opponents.
