Stanley selected for Laois/Offaly

Laois County Councillor Brian Stanley was unanimously selected as the Sinn Féin candidate for Laois/Offaly in the next 26-County General Election.

In his acceptance speech Stanley said Sinn Féin was impacting on the political agenda at national and local level. "Its our efforts that are moving us towards all-Ireland integration," he said.

He went on to say that Sinn Féin in Laois/Offaly must use the election campaign to break the dominance of the conservative parties.
